Answer:

Given : NP is a line segment

and O is the mid point

therefore, we can write

NP = NO + OP

now put the values

under NP write 2x , NO = x+7 , OP = 10

Therefore the equation that comes to us after putting values is

2x = x+7 + 10

now solving

2x - x = 7+10

x = 17

therefore

numerical length of NO = x+7

i.e. , 17 + 7 = 24
